How does the bike arrive?

Our simple assembly process makes it possible to use your skills to assemble your GT at home. GT bikes will arrive 80% assembled. To get out riding, you will need to first install handlebars, seatpost, front wheel, brake rotor (if applicable) and a set of pedals. Click here to learn more about how your bike will arrive. Yes, the wheels are compatible with tubeless, but you will need sealant, valve stems, and tubeless tires to set it up tubeless.

The Sensor Alloy has a Semi-Integrated, 1-1/8” - 1-1/2” head tube. It utilizes a ZS44/56 internal headset.

What is the max rotor size for the rear brake on the Sensor Alloy?

The max rotor size on the rear brake is a 203mm rotor. The native brake rotor size without an adapter is 180mm rotor.

Can I convert my Sensor Alloy to 27.5" or MX wheels?

No, the Sensor Alloy is only compatible with 29" wheels.

What derailleur hanger is used on the Sensor Alloy?

The derailleur hanger is a Sram Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). (Sram Part # 00.7918.093.000)
